The SouthWest Sanctuary for Wisdom & Healing.

Magical Sunday Experience Virtual Tour

At The Southwest Sanctuary for Wisdom and Healing *aka The Chi Center*, we aspire to be a nurturing ground for diverse communities and global wisdom traditions. Situated in the vibrant and historic valley of Galisteo, our sanctuary is a home base for practices including Qigong, yoga, mindfulness, shamanism, energy medicine, non-religious spirituality, art, conscious leadership, and sustainable living. This is where ancient wisdom meets modern seekers, creating a unique tapestry of healing and growth.

Nestled in one of the oldest artist and healer communities, Galisteo has been a place of gathering and sanctuary for over 8,000 years, dating back to the Anasazi people. Our land is rich with ancient petroglyphs, each telling stories of a profound connection with nature and spirit. At TSS: The Southwest Sanctuary, we continue this legacy by offering a space where you can embark on a journey of coming home—to yourself, to your community, and to the natural world.

We believe in the power of collective energy and shared vision. TSS is not just a place, but a collaborative partner in the transformative journey for every individual and group that joins us. By fostering long-term relationships with spiritual leaders and healers, we co-create an ecosystem of wisdom and wellness that thrives on mutual support and respect.

The Sanctuary of Transformation & Connection in the Heart of the SouthWest.

The magic of The Southwest Sanctuary lives in the healing we offer through stewardship, transformative practices, and community inclusion. Whether you are seeking peace through meditation in our underground kiva, energy healing under the wisdom of 400-year-old cottonwood trees, or the inspiration of the expansive views and vibrant skies, TSS offers a sanctuary where healing and growth are naturally cultivated. Visit our sacred land to experience the tranquility and transformation only found in the heart of the Southwest.

Winter is the time for deep rest and rejuvenation. We can allow ourselves to go fallow and experience a grounding and composting that essential for healing and renewal.

We can allow Earth to hold us and, in return, offer our gratitude and love.

Yoga Nidra is a state of non-doing, a return to the true Self where a frequency pervades that is said to be peace beyond words.

In the practice of Yoga Nidra, we reclaim our worthiness and birthright to deeply rest. We can let go of our culture’s transactional nature and allow ourselves to receive.
